Bio
Beth Buxton is a diverse and talented fashion stylist and creative consultant based in London. Buxton graduated from Manchester University in 2001 with a Bachelor Degree (Hons.) in Furniture Design & Making. After graduating, Buxton embarked on her career by assisting fashion stylists Karl Plewka and Sarah Cobb for a number of years, working on magazine editorials, fashion shows and advertising campaigns. Buxton is the Founder, Editor in Chief and Creative Director of Red Thread Journal and a regular consultant for fashion labels and musicians. Buxton has styled and creatively directed numerous editorial shoots and films/videos with esteemed photographers including Rankin, Nick Dorey, Jon Compson and Dean Chalkley. Styling for publications such as L’Officiel, Wonderland, Sunday Times Style and S magazine. With exclusives and ad campaigns with brands like Cartier, Louis Vuitton, ,Moynat and Illamasqua, Buxton has a desirable list of clients, past and present. Personal projects have included exhibitions and films with models including Cara Delevingne, Melissa Tammerijn, and David Gandy. More recently, Buxton has utilised her skills by designing one off wearable furniture and creating bespoke pieces for numerous ad campaigns. With her design background and considerable experience, working both independently and alongside reputable individuals, Buxton has acquired multifaceted skills in all areas of styling and design. Her diversity can be seen as one of her greatest strengths, in an industry that is continually expanding and crossing the boundaries into other artistic fields.
