    The triptique is a response to spending nine weeks in a rare and biologically diverse forest whilst on a residency at Communidad Inti Wara Yassi in Bolivia.


    I used multiple layers of traditional oil glaze to describe the texture, form and intensity of colour when light blazed through the canopy and foliage of the jungle. The paintings are a portrait of the forest, presenting its vitality, strength and fragility.
