• D'Ya Think? Inc.

A short film about a journey through our brain-washed world and it's link with mental illness.

  • Common Ground

The short film on the left was made on the island of Guernsey, Channel Islands.  The Channel Islands were the only part of Britain to be occupied by the Germans during WWII.  Hitler saw them as strategic and embarked on an extensive programme of fortification, underground bunker and tunnel building, the evidence of which is very much in evidence today.  History usually portrays the occupation as either a period of hell for the people of the Channel Islands, or accuses them of collaborating with the Germans.  Throughout the whole of WWII, Churchill made no effort to liberate the islands from the Germans, whilst the German soliders endured horrendous conditions with limited rations just like the locals.

I have had the privilege of hearing stories of the occupation first hand from people who lived on Guernsey through it, and also accounts of the views of their parents and grand-parents.  This film was inspired by those stories, but is not an attempt to document them.
